- Taya Kyle believes that guns are not the problem, but people are. We focus so much on why a person has a need to shoot people up that we don't actually handle the issue. She thinks that mass killings or even single killings are not rooted in the gun, but in any mechanism worthy of accomplishing the task. Kyle believes that we need to focus more on helping people with their issues vs. banning a weapon that could also potentially protect us in the long run.
